It's been SO busy lately, that I can barely catch up with myself! Hectic schedule aside, I didn't want to miss sharing this wonderful review by our dear fragrant friend Carrie Meredith, from one of our favorite Blogs EYELINER ON A CAT (Carrie was recently mentioned along with Victoria from EauMG, by beauty director for Allure Magazine, Amy Keller Laird,in an article on Allure.com Daily Beauty Reporter !)

So pop on over to EYELINER ON A CAT to read Carrie's delightful take on "Two More Bohemians"!

What a sweet surprise this is, thank you so much for posting this, Kedra! I've been having a lot of fun with Les Bohemes in general. The possibilities really do feel endless- each perfume stands on its own beautifully and with enough complexity, but they are not overwrought, so they can blend well too, not an easy feat to pull off! It is my pleasure to do my part to spread the word, and the love. :)

Kedra, I just noticed something about Dapper (yes, I'm wearing it AGAIN, big surprise!), it has a quality that reminds me of aged red wine- is that something you intended or is it just my interpretation?

Hi Carrie! As a matter of fact- I incorporated a Berry Accord in Dapper (love the whole Violet/Berry thing!) and the aged wine quality was part of my concept there! Wow - you have a most impressive Sniffer!!! ;~)

Why thank you, my nose will now take a bow! :)

There had been something nagging at me about Dapper for weeks until I figured it out today. It's so strange how you can become so familiar with a fragrance, and then BAM! a new facet just pops out of the background one day. Now that I've realized this, a vintage wine accord makes so much sense conceptually, and also works beautifully in the construction.

Applauding your Nose!! ;~)

I do tend to gravitate towards the Vintage side of the scent landscape,
and often times wind up incorporating multiple accords into my scents... I find this blending style allows ample wiggle room for those hidden facets to come breaking through when least expected!

Thank you for reviewing these, I lover your vintage references, I am a mad Art Deco girl. I don't know where to start with Liz Zorn, there is such a cornucopia on the site. Any suggestions?

Sharryn, since this is Kedra Hart's blog, you can email me at eyelineronacat at gmail dot com, and we can talk Liz Zorn. But I don't need much prodding to go on about Opus Oils, too! I hope you get to try some samples soon. :)

Fragrant Greetings Sharryn, and thanks for your comment! Actually, I am unfamiliar with Liz Zorns fragrances... But if you are a fan of vintage scents, I do think you would enjoy many of our scent collections at Opus Oils. I'd advise that you start with our Les Bohemes collection as I designed these scents in tribute to the "Golden Age." :~)

Sorry Kedra, had a vague moment, I did in fact mean Opus oils, not sure why I was thinking Liz Lorn... Idiot, I am. When I look at your site, I just don't know were to start. Sorry for my typo also. That's what you get for rushing! Will order a set of Les Bohemes.
Thanks ~♥~

No worries Sharryn, I have "vague" moments myself on a regular basis! I look forward to hearing your impressions on the LB Collection ;-)!
